Plus now my employees are happier and feel respected, which helps me in a number of indirect ways
The biggest mistake of capitalism was letting managers believe that stuck-up ladies in their 50’s would actually shop at another store after experiencing a tiny inconvenience because of how much of a hissy fit they worked themselves into about it in the moment. And also believing that somehow revenue from a single customer impacted their bottom line more than the job satisfaction of one of their own employees.
They’ll be back. They’re resistant to change lol. Your employees won’t be though. You have about 6mo.
